Dr. Shiling Zhou of New Jersey is an artist and an educator specializing in Chinese brush painting and calligraphy. He attended China’s prestigious China Academy of Art where he graduated with a Ph.D. in calligraphy and painting, under the supervision of renowned Professor Wang Dongling. Shiling currently holds research and teaching positions in China Academy of Arts as a Research Fellow at Modern Calligraphy Research Center and in The Art School as an instructor. He is a member of the American Visual Arts Association and vice President and Secretary-General of American Fine Arts Association; Chainman of The Calligrapher Association of American.
Since moved to the United States, Shiling has made every effort to promote Chinese arts and culture in the American community by offering art demonstrations and workshops to schools, museums and fortune 500 companies. He also serves as an art consultant to many corporations.
